No. These are powered compressor fridges, so they cool without bags of ice. They need a suitable power supply while operating.
Which model can refrigerate and freeze at the same time?
The APL35 and VL75ProD have two independently controlled zones. The VL45 has one zone, which you set as either a fridge or a freezer.
What should I measure before choosing?
Check the space in your vehicle, lid opening clearance, ventilation, and room for the power cable. Share your vehicle and cargo layout with AT230 so we can help you compare your options.
Can I use a portable power station?
A compatible power station can supply the fridge. Runtime depends on battery capacity, ambient temperature, settings, and how often you open it. A fridge’s rated capacity does not tell you how long a battery will last; confirm the complete power setup before your trip.
