Yes, it is included in the Mark 3 package.
The Mark 3 measures 22" x 10" x 12" and weighs 22 lbs. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry and store.
The Mark 3 delivers a cooling capacity of 5,280 BTU, specifically engineered for targeted cooling in outdoor and off-grid environments.
The power consumption of the Mark 3 varies depending on the operating mode:
- Rocket Mode: 350–500W
- Cool Mode: 200–350W
- Sleep Mode: 150–200W
- Fan Mode: 12–17W
- Dry Mode: 350–500W
- Care Mode: 150–350W
- Heating Mode: 200–500W
Yes, the Mark 3 has a heating mode. However, it is important to note that this function is designed as a supplementary feature, rather than a primary heating solution. Due to power limitations, the heating mode is only effective when the ambient temperature is above 50°F (10°C).
We recommend first using your primary heating system to raise the room temperature to your desired level, and then using the Mark 3's heating mode to help maintain that temperature.
As with most air conditioners, during cooling operations, the front of the unit releases cold air while the rear expels warm air.
The Mark 3 is designed forpersonal and small-area cooling(100–150 sq. ft.). Unlike traditional air conditioners that cool entire rooms, it focuses on spot cooling or flexible use in compact spaces—ideal for outdoor or portable setups.
The "Care Mode" uses a PI (Proportional-Integral) algorithm to quickly adjust the compressor speed, helping the outlet air temperature match your desired setting faster. In short, it provides rapid, targeted comfort by focusing on quickly reaching your preferred temperature.
Yes. The Mark 3 includes a 100V–240V AC adapter. When connected to a wall outlet, it can run continuously without a battery.
When plugged into a standard AC wall outlet (100V–240V), the Mark 3 can operate continuously, as long as it is properly maintained and in good working condition.
If running on Mark 3 battery power, the runtime depends on the selected mode and the number of batteries connected. Here's a breakdown of the expected working time:
- Rocket Mode (350–500W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 2–3 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 4–6 hours
- Cool Mode (200–350W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 3–5 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 6–10 hours
- Sleep Mode (150–200W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 5–7 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 10–14 hours
- Fan Mode (12–17W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 60–85 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 120–170 hours
- Dry Mode (350–500W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 2–3 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 4–6 hours
- Care Mode (150–350W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 3–7 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 6–14 hours
- Heating Mode (200–500W):
- With one battery (1022Wh): 2–5 hours
- With two batteries (2044Wh): 4–10 hours
Yes! The Mark 3 app (currently in beta) is available for both iOS and Android:
- iOS: Download from the Apple App Store.
- Android: Download from the Google Play Store.
Whether or not ducts are necessary depends on your environment and setup:
- In open spaces: Ducts are not required, and you can use the Mark 3 to cool the area effectively without them.
- In enclosed spaces (such as tents, vans, or boats): We recommend installing the rear dual ducts to enhance cooling efficiency and improve ventilation.
For targeted cooling, you can also install the front air outlet duct in either case to direct airflow more precisely to the desired area.
The battery runtime of the Mark 3 depends on the selected operating mode and how many batteries are connected. Here are the approximate runtimes:
- Rocket Mode (350–500W)
- One battery: 2–3 hours
- Two batteries: 4–6 hours
- Cool Mode (200–350W)
- One battery: 3–5 hours
- Two batteries: 6–10 hours
- Sleep Mode (150–200W)
- One battery: 5–7 hours
- Two batteries: 10–14 hours
- Fan Mode (12–17W)
- One battery: 60–85 hours
- Two batteries: 120–170 hours
- Dry Mode (350–500W)
- One battery: 2–3 hours
- Two batteries: 4–6 hours
- Care Mode (150–350W)
- One battery: 3–7 hours
- Two batteries: 6–14 hours
- Heat Mode (200–500W)
- One battery: 2–5 hours
- Two batteries: 4–10 hours
You can recharge the Mark 3 battery through several methods:
- Using the included 500W AC adapter (charges to 80% in about 2 hours).
- Using another Mark 3 battery (via the built-in charging cable).
- Using solar panels (12–60V input; solar charging cable sold separately).
- Using a 12V car cigarette lighter (cable sold separately).
Yes. You can connect the Mark 3 AC unit to the battery using the built-in cable, and then plug the battery into a power source.
This setup allows you to recharge the battery while simultaneously powering the air conditioner.
The charging speed depends on the power output of your charging source.
With the standard 500W AC adapter, the battery charges to approximately 80% in about 2 hours.
Can the Mark 3 only be powered by the Mark 3 battery?
No. The Mark 3 can also run on third-party power supplies. It requires up to 500W of power and can operate from:
- 110–240V AC,
- 48V DC,
- 12–36V DC (when using a 48V booster).
No. When using multiple batteries chained together, the next battery willautomatically take overwhen the first one is depleted. Therefore, you can sleep soundly without needing to swap batteries manually.
The Mark 3 battery is designed for over 1,000 full charge/discharge cycles at normal temperatures. After 1,000 cycles, it typically retains around 87% of its original capacity.
The Mark 3 is covered by a one-year warranty as outlined in the ZERO BREEZE warranty policy.
