Wingman X – Compatible Pickup Models
The electric double-layer tent is designed to be universally compatible with pickup trucks.
Standard mounting brackets are currently available in the U.S. market for the following models:
Ford F-150 (5.5 ft) / Ram 1500 / Toyota Tundra / Toyota Tacoma / GMC Sierra / Jeep Gladiator / Ford Ranger (5 ft)
For other truck bed configurations, custom brackets may be required.
Please contact support@iwildlandus.com for compatibility confirmation.
Wind Resistance
- When fully closed, the tent maintains the same wind resistance level as the original vehicle.
- When fully deployed (without the side awning), it can withstand winds up to Level 6 (11-14m/s).
- When fully deployed with the side awning open, poles extended, and guy ropes secured, it can withstand winds up to Level 4 (6-
8m/s).
For safety reasons, WINGMAN is not recommended for use in extreme weather conditions such as strong winds or heavy rain.
Water Resistance
- Outer Layer: 100% waterproof, with SEAM TAPE applied to all stitched seams.
- Inner Layer: Standard water resistance. Since the connection to the truck bed is not fully sealed, it is not 100% waterproof.
- After installing WINGMAN, light water seepage may occur in the truck bed during rainy or snowy weather.
- Avoid storing items that require complete waterproofing.
- It is recommended to use a rain cover or other protective materials.
- For users with special waterproofing requirements for the truck bed, additional sealing improvements can be made as needed.
